Silliguri-Darjeeling via Mirik-Kalimpong-Gangtok – Sikkim Darjeeling Tour (05Nights/06Days) 

Day One: Early morning arrival at Bagdogra Airport. Meet, greet and transfer to Jalpaiguri station, Siliguri. Move to Darjeeling via Mirik by Toy train enjoying beautiful landscapes teeming tea gardens and excellent viewpoints. Evening transfer to Hotel The Elgin, Darjeeling.

Day Two – Darjeeling: After breakfast full day sightseen of Darjeeling.

Bhutia Basti Monastery: A small monastery, beautifully painted façade belongs to the Bhutia’s (people of Tibetan origin).

Dhirdham Temple: A beautiful temple of Lord Shiva in different mudras. It also resemble the famous Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.

Crossroad: It is the ‘Heart of Victorian Darjeeling’. It is a shopping hub with restaurants, hotels, stalls and shops.

Natural History Museum: A rich collection of local fauna is exhibited here. Overnight at Hotel The Elgin, Darjeeling.

Day Three – Darjeeling-Gangtok via Kalimpong: After breakfast move Tea garden. There are 86 Tea garden here. The Happy Valley Tea Estate: This tea garden produce world’s most expensive and exotically flavored tea. ‘Orthodox Tea Manufacture’ method of tea processing is used here. Move to Gangtok via Kalimpong by road.

Kalimpong: Visit to Mangal Dhaam, a temple in the memory of late Guru Shree 108 Mangal Dasji and the beautiful St. Theresa’s church with a unique shopping experience in Tibetan market, famous for craft items. Reach Gangtok and transfer to Hotel Nor-Khill. Overnight at hotel.

Day Four – Gangtok: After breakfast ful day sightseen of Gangtok. Starting from Government Cottage Industries Institute: In this institute women weaves colorful carpets, shawls and blankets and men crave multi-hued wooden tables and other handicraft items which can also be purchased.

Dodrul Chorten (Stupa): It is a beautiful structure rises like great white bells surmounted by a golden pinnacle. It was built in 1945 by Ven Trulshi Rinpoche.

Orchid Sanctuary: This sanctuary has 631 variety of orchids, of commonest variety to rarest variety has been preserved here.

Tsuklakhang: The monastery built in traditional Sikkimese style. It is most accessible monastery and know for numerous festivals.

Overnight at Hotel Nor-Khill, Darjeeling.

Day Five – Deer Park: It is a sanctuary where deer are brought from different parts of Sikkim and other parts of world. It has very calm atmosphere.

Tsongo Lake: The oval shape holy lake is famous for mystical environs and the wild flowers. It is also the home of many brahmini ducks.
Rumtek Monastery: This monastery has been designed after the Lamasary pattern. It is one of the most important monasteries in Gangtok It is an institute of scholarship which spread noble teaching of Lord Buddha.

Hanuman Tok Ganesh Tok: These both are the famous temple of Lord Hanuma and Lord Ganesha. Both the temples give a fine view of snow clad peak of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Overnight at Hotel Nor-Khill.

Day Six – Gangtok-Pelling: After breakfast, Move to Pelling.

Rock Garden: The garden offers a beautiful view of a hill steam and a natural water fall. It is a multi-level picnic spot with tea and snack shops.
Evening board to helicopter for onward destination.

Tour end with sweet memories.
